San Diego Sales Representative, Part Time

Rough Draft is looking for people to join our family-run microbrewery and grow with us.
 
Job description:
We are looking for hungry individuals with experience in the beer industry to represent our brand in San Diego.  The Sales Representative is responsible for on-premise and off-premise sales in select areas of the county.  Position is part-time to start at 12 hours/week, and could become full-time based on results.  Also, job can be combined with other roles at the brewery, such as bartender.
 
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prospects new business by determining focus areas within territory, setting appointments, and utilizing stop-by techniques.
• Establish relationships with store owners and bar managers.
• Work with distributor to meet sales goals and objectives.
• Set up and participate in in-store promotions, beer dinners, festivals, and special events.  Festival events frequently occur on weekends.
• Organize an efficient schedule including a daily route along with a monthly, quarterly and yearly plan.
• Look at territory with entrepreneurial eyes to seek out new opportunities to increase sales and penetration.
• Prepare timely paperwork in a neat, legible, and professional manner.
• Thorough and up to date reporting on all existing and target accounts utilizing a mobile CRM and Excel spreadsheets.

 
Key skills and requirements:

• A minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• Requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage one's self and work in an efficient manner and interact with others effectively and professionally.
